CINCINNATI – Brigid Kelly, Ohio State Representative (OH-31), announced today that she will seek the office of Hamilton County Auditor in the November 2022 Election.
Rep. Kelly is serving her third term in the State Legislature. Prior to that, she spent her career fighting for the members of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union and served on Norwood City Council.
“I am running for Auditor to be a consumer watchdog for the people of Hamilton County,” said Kelly.
During her 5 years in the Statehouse, Rep. Kelly has fought so that more Ohioans can have a better life. She has a track record of working across party lines to get common sense legislation passed, prioritizes being accessible to her constituents, and keeping hardworking people at the center of their government.
“We can strengthen an office that focuses on the needs of the people of Hamilton County. I will fight for consumers, increase transparency so that we know where our tax dollars are going, and modernize the office so information is easy to access. And I’ll work with anyone to make housing more accessible for people in our communities.” said Kelly.
